GDPR Notice

This notice details your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the cookies used on egimpex.com, and how to manage your consent.

1. Your 8 GDPR rights

The GDPR guarantees you eight fundamental rights: (1) right to information about how your data is processed; (2) right of access to your personal data; (3) right of rectification of inaccurate data; (4) right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"); (5) right to restriction of processing; (6) right to object to processing, in particular to direct marketing; (7) right to data portability in a structured, machine-readable format; (8) right not to be subject to automated decisions producing significant legal effects.

2. Cookies used on egimpex.com

We use a deliberately limited number of cookies, classified into two categories.

Strictly necessary cookies (always active)

"sb-*": Supabase session cookies to maintain your authentication (duration: session, or 7 days for persistent login). "NEXT_LOCALE": stores your preferred language (duration: 1 year). These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

These cookies help us measure the use of the Platform anonymously and in aggregate to improve the product. They are only set with your explicit consent. "ph_*": PostHog cookies for product analytics (duration: 12 months). No personally identifiable data is transmitted.

No third-party marketing cookies

We do not set any third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. In particular: no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads, no social network cookies (any share buttons are simple HTML links, with no tracker).

3. How to withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time by deleting the 'cookie-consent' entry from your browser localStorage, or by using the button below to redisplay the consent banner. You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

4. Cookie retention periods

The retention periods indicated above are maximum durations. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies can be deleted manually at any time via your browser settings.
